Case Study: CMS Management

Introduction

Using Craft I built out the CMS from scratch to create an optimised website with UX in mind. Tailoring content and site structure to align best with business goals and audience needs, delivering a high-quality, responsive website.

Goals and Objectives

The primary goals were to:

  • Set up a website for users to navigate through clearly

  • Make sure lead generation was a focus

  • Improve users engagement and experience

  • Optimising content for SEO

Strategy and Approach

Project Management: Create a timeline with non negotiable, making sure everyone is clear of what is happening and can be done

Brand Consistency: Making sure all content adhered to brand guidelines and captured the heart of the business

SEO Optimisation: Ensuring all images are labelled and named correctly for optimisation and that keywords are integrated into copy

Execution

Worked alongside the developers to upload all content

Implemented weekly meetings with developers to raise concerns and problems to get them fixed

Planned a launch making sure it had a marketing plan to increase traffic

Challenges and Solutions

Challenges: Managing expectations and requests to change websites

Solutions: Created a plan to send to everyone, so there was a clear outline of when things would be achieved. Created a list of post launch list to make sure we could deliver site on time

Results/Impact/Conclusion

Created a streamlined website that was unique to the yachting industry. Showing that Arksen has design and UX at the heart of everything it does. Positioning products in a friendly and engaging way to the customer.
